Heart And Hearth

A man's home is his castle, so the saying goes.

Many think, that to be a king, is to have fine clothes, wear a crown upon your head, live in a castle, have power and authority, etc. Yet I know people who live in castles, have fine clothes, etc., and I can tell you, it doesn't fill their hearts with deep, abiding joy.

There is only one, true desire of every human heart, we all share, which is to be filled with absolute love, peace, grace, wisdom and joy. You might deny it, but deep, deep down in your heart of hearts (soul), you know it to be true.

There is only one, true will of the one, true God of absolute love, which is to fill our hearts with absolute love, peace, grace, wisdom and joy.

So why doesn't He do it already? You may well ask...

As certain conditions must be met, in order for life to exist, such as breathable air, water, etc., so too, certain conditions must be met, in order for love to exist in our lives. TRUE love, that is...

Love is a very natural thing. Actually, it's the supernatural presence of God's divine nature.

All nature's though, have certain characteristics, that form and define their character.

There are two nature's within us, that are at odds with each other. There's the divine nature of love and the instinctual nature of our flesh.

The characteristics of the instinctual nature, are pride, vanity, selfish ambition, lust, desire for creature comforts and fear for survival.

The characteristics of love, are its virtues of assertiveness, caring, charity, cleanliness, commitment, compassion, confidence, consideration, cooperation, courage, courtesy, creativity, detachment, determination, dignity, diligence, enthusiasm, excellence, flexibility, forgiveness, friendliness, generosity, gentleness, gracefulness, graciousness, helpfulness, holiness, honesty, honor, humility, idealism, integrity, joyfulness, justice, kindness, loyalty, moderation, modesty, nobility orderliness, patience, peacefulness, perseverance, purposefulness, reliability, respect, responsibility, self-discipline, service, tact, thankfulness, tolerance, trust, trustworthiness, truthfulness, understanding, unity and wisdom.

The character that is formed from the instinctual nature, is "the beast" of instinct. From its characteristic pride and vanity, etc, it makes your character stubborn, obstinate, unforgiving, undignified, dishonest, etc. You get the idea?

The character that is formed from the nature of true love, is "the Christ", the character of the perfect gentleman or gentlewoman, that comes from the virtuous characteristics of true love.

This is the true character of a "king" or "queen" and in God's "kingdom", everyone is a perfect gentleman or gentlewoman of true love, who's kingdom is the realm of self, that he or she rules, with self-control, and who's castle, is their heart of hearts. That's why Jesus is called, the king of kings, the gentleman's gentleman.

You can't feel more at home, than when you're around those you truly love and who truly love you, and who you treat and who treat you, with respect, honor, caring, courtesy, compassion, cooperation, friendliness, patience, tolerance, etc.

That's what makes for a true, happy family and a joyful heart.

While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. Then one said to Him, "Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You." But He answered and said to the one who told Him, "Who is My mother and who are My brothers?" And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, "Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother."Matthew 12:46-50

Now many build their "ministries", claiming it's God's will. But they are deluded, for all it truly is, is their idea that comes from not knowing God's one, true will, but from their own pride, vanity, selfish ambition (ego) and good intentions, and we all know where pride and good intentions lead to, don't we?

All God really wants of us, is to be blood vessels of His divine nature, to live for love, with all our heart, mind, body and soul (absolutely), according to His true love's absolute holiness, peacefulness, gracefulness and graciousness, with absolute equanimity, humility and cooperativeness, without a care in the world and like little children at heart, though far from childish, so we can be the shining example of the truth, the way and the life (true way of life) in His eternal presence, realm and reality of absolute love and virtuousness, to those who are within our sphere of influence.

Anything other than this, is a deception from the instinctual nature of "the flesh" and it's pride, vanity, selfish ambition, lust, desire for creature comforts and/or fear for survival, whether they know it or not, believe it or not, like it or not, ready or not.
