Love Can't Be Contained
Now before I start, I want you to know, that I know you know everything I'm about to tell you, in your heart of hearts, whether you believe in God or not. Because I know, that when He gives birth to a soul in the supernatural, He breathes His life into it. Which means He fills it with all the knowledge and awareness of His divine nature and virtuous characteristics, so that all your inspiration will come from love and be expressed with majestic virtuousness. In other words, so that from the seed of your soul, you will grow into an absolutely perfect gentleman or gentlewoman of His true love (saint). At least, that's the plan...
Yes, God IS love, that's His divine nature. It's who, what, why and how He is and though you don't necessarily know it, He loves you absolutely and can't possibly love you any other way, because HE IS absolute love.
Though you ought to know, that while His love is far from romantic, it's not without a touch of romance, neither is it without a "touch" of tough love.
Religion comes from the instinctual, egocentric mind of man, in trying to get his head around God. But God IS love and you can't know love (God) by trying to get your head around Him. You can only know TRUE love (God), by experiencing His divine nature (presence) in your heart and soul.
Love is not religious, is it? If you think it is, then you really don't know love at all and haven't experienced it's true presence, that sweeps you off your feet and sends you head over heels...
Love is absolutely virtuous and is so majestic, that when His divine nature (presence) flows through every fibre of your being, in absolute, supernatural power and glory, it makes you feel like a mighty king and transforms every aspect of your character, in the twinkle of an eye, into that of an absolutely perfect gentleman or gentlewoman of His true love (saint).
Though for TRUE love to stay and remain with you, you must be absolutely ready, willing and ABLE to allow your every thought, word and deed to be governed and dictated by absolute love and its characteristic virtues.
ABSOLUTE assertiveness, caring, charity, cleanliness, commitment, compassion, confidence, consideration, cooperation, courage, courtesy, creativity, detachment, determination, dignity, diligence, enthusiasm, excellence, faithfulness, flexibility, forgiveness, friendliness, generosity, gentleness, gracefulness, graciousness, helpfulness, holiness, honesty, honor, humility, idealism, integrity, joyfulness, justice, kindness, loyalty, moderation, modesty, nobility, orderliness, patience, peacefulness, perseverance, purposefulness, reliability, respect, responsibility, self-discipline, service, tact, thankfulness, tolerance, trust, trustworthiness, truthfulness, understanding, unity and wisdom.
Otherwise, true love will die, not in itself, for TRUE love (God) can never die. But it will die in you. It's only natural, for without virtue, it is no longer TRUE love.
I don't know about you, but I've had a relationship with God my entire life and as far as I'm concerned, there's nothing religious about it. It's perfectly natural and normal for me and I don't try and put Him, me or anyone else into a box, because love makes you do crazy things and if you can't let go and let love (God) have His way with you, then He'll just leave you to your own devising, and it really is that simple and perfectly natural.
Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man's devising.Acts 17:29
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (and other characteristics of the instinctual nature).2 Peter 1:2-4
Do you wonder if there's such a thing as true love? Or think that chivalry is dead? Well then, think on what I've told you and maybe you'll understand that it's no coincidence true love is as hard to find, as the presence of God and why there's so little true virtue in the world... and don't think you're going to find it in "the church". All you're likely to get from there is a head spin and bound (chained) up in the letter of the law (scriptures), and put in a box.
I found it interesting, that I was visiting a local church the other day and the head Pastor turned to his secretary and said he wanted to do something fun for Christmas, and they both laughed and said people wouldn't know what hit them, if they had fun in church... I turned to them and said, "Let alone absolute, resounding joy, with absolute abandon." That stumped them...
But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.Romans 7:6
For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God (for love).Galatians 2:19
Don't box yourself in and build walls around you from your self-consciousness, pride, vanity, envy, selfishness, ambition, lust, greed, desire for creature comforts and/or fear for survival. For those walls you build, to defend yourself with, are really just the walls of your own prison and prevent the love that's in your heart, from flowing as it's meant to, in being a blood vessel of absolute love (God). But you know that, don't you? Deep down in your heart of hearts (soul)?

Virtue of the Week
TRUTHFULNESS
lion-like characteristic
Truthfulness is being honest in your words and actions. You don't tell lies even to defend yourself. Don't listen to gossip or prejudice. See the truth for yourself. Don't try to be more than you are to impress others. Be true to yourself, who, what, why and how you truly are, in your heart of hearts.
The truthful lip shall be established forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment.Proverbs 12:19
