Loving Is Caring

Loving Is Caring

In my second marriage, I had a stepson who was very rebellious and was diagnosed with ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder). Though those of us who know and understand the true nature of things, know the true cause behind it, the Sinful, Instinctual Nature, that fills the mind with dark thoughts that have their Source In Negativity (SIN).

He got into trouble with the police and drugs, etc. and one day, when I was trying to get through to him, he told me he just wanted to do whatever he wanted and that he didn't want his mother and I to care what he did. Oh the resistance of the pride of "the flesh". It's such a stubborn, obstinate, savage beast.

I said to him, "So, if you don't want us to care, then you don't want us to love you?"

He replied, that of course he wanted us to love him and that if we truly loved him, we shouldn't care what he did.

I said to him, "We can't love you without caring about you, because loving is caring."

Of course, there's many more virtuous characteristics (fruits) of God's divine nature of absolute, true love, than caring. For He IS love and He is absolutely virtuous.

God (True Love), is not religious, He is absolutely virtuous (righteous), so naturally, He is ABSOLUTELY holy, peaceful, graceful, gracious, assertive, caring, charitable, compassionate, confident, considerate, cooperative, courageous, courteous, creative, determined, dignified, diligent, enthusiastic, flexible, forgiving, friendly, generous, gentle, helpful, honest, honorable, humble, idealistic, integral, joyful, kind, loyal, moderate, modest, noble, orderly, patient, persevering, purposeful, reliable, respectful, responsible, self-disciplined, tactful, thankful, tolerant, trusting, trustworthy, truthful, understanding and wise.

That's how you can tell a true man or woman of God from the religious, legal eagles and lukewarm wannabes. For a true man or woman of God, is a man or woman of true love, an absolutely perfect gentleman or gentlewoman of absolute, undying, virtuous and majestic, true love. A man or woman of true, saintly character, according to the virtuous characteristics of the divine nature, of the one, true, Great Omniscient Deity of absolute, true love.

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."John 13:34-35

Both of my marriages ended, because both my wives committed adultery. Though they knew the scriptures and professed to believe in God and to have faith, they were, regardless of what they knew, both governed and ruled by their instinctual nature and corrupted by its characteristic pride, vanity and lust, the nature and characteristics (spirit) of Jezebel.

Sadly, on the path to knowing what true love (God) is, we have to know what it's not and we learn through the school of hard knocks and heartbreak.

Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man's devising.Acts 17:29
To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness (virtuousness) of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (and other characteristics of the instinctual nature).2 Peter 1:1-4
"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness (unvirtuousness)!' "Matthew 7:21-23

TRUTHFULNESS

lion-like characteristic

Truthfulness is being honest in your words and actions. You don't tell lies even to defend yourself. Don't listen to gossip or prejudice. See the truth for yourself. Don't try to be more than you are to impress others. Be true to yourself, who, what, why and how you truly are, in your heart of hearts.

The truthful lip shall be established forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment.Proverbs 12:19
