Spare The Rod, Spoil The Child

Kids today! It's a common cry of the older generations, in every generation. But honestly, what is it with kids today?

As a parent of a number of children who have all 'grown up', except my youngest, 16 year old daughter who still lives with me, I look at how the younger generation today expect to have everything handed to them on a silver platter and if they don't get what they want or like what they hear, the beast of their flesh that God named Satan and man calls ego, rises up within them like a serpent, from its pricked and wounded pride, vanity, envy, selfishness, ambition, lust, greed, desire for creature comfort and/or fear for survival, and fills their mind with dark, poisonous thoughts that have their Source In Negativity, that causes them to hiss and spit venomous words like a viper or stomp and bellow like an angry bull, etc.

They cry out, "You don't love me!"

But of course, they don't know WHAT true love is and it's no different to almost every other kid in history. As a parent I ignore their tantrums when I won't pamper to their whims and don't smack my children (unless I rarely and genuinely have to). But still, I'm judged as a beast for punishing their unloving (unvirtuous/wicked) behavior, thanks to the self-righteousness of the do-gooders and their proud, vain, good intentions, who think that discipline (tough love) isn't true love and we should pamper to the whims of our children, because the truth is, they want to be pampered themselves and those who have truly got over themselves know that while absolute, undying, true love is far from romantic, it's not without a TOUCH of romance or a TOUCH of tough love.

Cinderella may be a fairy tale, but like all fairy tales about true love and its virtuous characteristics (fruits), it contains pearls of wisdom (common sense) and while none of us who wholeheartedly believe in TRUE love and WHAT it is, agree with the cruel way Cinderella was treated, what we take away from it in this message, is that her stepsisters were spoiled, pampered brats who had very little virtue (wicked), while Cinderella who wasn't pampered in the slightest, was a princess even when she was dressed in rags and slept in the attic, and her crown was her shining, majestic virtuousness (righteousness).

Because we are all born into an instinctual and egocentric (sinful) world and at times (most of the time) are blinded, deceived, governed and ruled by the beast of our instinctual, egocentric nature (that God named Satan and man calls ego), we sometimes need the short, sharp shock of a slap in the face or smack on the bottom to snap us out of it and unfortunately for the do-gooders, they're going to find out too late, that God is not a pamperer of egos (respecter of persons) and that hell is full of do-gooders and the broad road (highway) to it, truly is paved with their good intentions. While the narrow path to Heaven is paved with broken hearts and littered with all the worldly possessions, cares, concerns, desires, hopes and dreams of those brave, courageous and faithful souls who forsook all and had the self-discipline to WALK IT and go through the debrainwashing process of the winepress and the mill (school of hard knocks), and its many trials, tribulations, humiliations, visions, revelations and supernatural encounters, that we who have walked it, call the narrow way or the Job workshop (RE: The Book of Job).

You won't find them crying over spilt milk or pampering to the beast of their instinctual, egocentric nature and its characteristic pride, vanity, envy, selfishness, ambition, lust, greed, desire for creature comfort and fear for survival, because they did what it took to get over (overcome) the beast of their flesh and have been washed clean (debrainwashed) of every spot and blemish that stains (marks) their character with its sinful characteristics.

They've truly 'grown up' and know that God IS love and WHAT true love is, beyond the shadow of any doubt. That it is absolutely virtuous and majestically so, and are perfect gentlemen and gentlewomen of TRUE love or saints, by any other name.

I really don't expect you to understand, but you will when God's wrath comes upon all flesh and supernaturally strikes your central nervous system with its absolute, paralyzing, petrifying, gripping fear (the absolute fear of God). Not from anger or to punish, but from true love's righteous (virtuous) indignation, to cleanse the world of every trace (spot and blemish) of that which is not of absolute, undying, true love and from its characteristic, majestic virtues. In short, to wipe out all ego, the true enemy of the one, true, living, Great Omniscient Deity of absolute, undying, true love and majestic virtuousness, and that makes everyone their own, worst enemy and point the finger of blame at everyone else and make them out to be their enemy.

I'm not your enemy. I'm just trying to make ends meet and awaken people to what they already know to be true, deep down in their heart of hearts (soul). Unfortunately, to do that, you have to get past their ego, that instinctively & egocentrically resists the honest to God truth that pricks and wounds it and reacts by bearing false witness, hissing and spitting venomous words like a viper, stomping and bellowing like an angry bull, etc. Ignorant, savage, pig-headed beast that it is and there's just no getting through the thick-headed, proud walls of those who are blinded, deceived, governed and ruled by the instinctual, egocentric nature of their flesh and its sinful characteristics.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living GodHebrews 10:31
Grace (gracefulness and graciousness) and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God (absolute love) and of Jesus our Lord (role model and mentor), as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (and other characteristics of the instinctual, egocentric nature of the flesh).2 Peter 2-4
"Brood of vipers (egos)! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?"Luke 3:7
