Hanging On For Life (AKA Carrying Your Cross)

MANY like to think they're carrying their cross, but they deceive themselves and find all manner of excuses to avoid forsaking all, from the pride, vanity, selfish ambition, lust, desire for creature comforts and/or fear for survival, of THE BEAST of their instinctual nature.

"If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he CANNOT BE My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me CANNOT BE My disciple."Luke 14:26-27

So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has CANNOT BE (IS NOT) My disciple.Luke 14:33
